Joni Barnes has over 24 years of commercial real estate experience in a variety of responsibilities ranging from acquisition and due diligence analysis to sales and marketing management. Ms. Barnes is the Principal of ONB Properties and performs full-service brokerage including tenant & buyer representation, landlord and seller representation as well as ground up development.
In 2012, ONB Properties opened and started serving clients in Holly Springs, NC where she resides with her husband and two teenage daughters.
Joni was awarded the Commercial Realtor® of the Year award in 2020; the year with the largest economic recession since the Great Depression. That same year she served as President of TCREW (Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women). Ms. Barnes is also an active member of TCAR (Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors), has served twice on the TCAR Board of Directors and was the President in 2013. Other accolades include Rising Star, Trailblazer, President’s Circle and Elite broker small firm awards. She recently earned her construction management diploma from NC State University.
She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from The University of Akron, Ohio and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina.
